Charlotte Southern Women's Show Recap

We received this message and a few photos from Kassie, a loyal reader who attended the Charlotte, North Carolina, Southern Women's Show last Saturday after winning our ticket giveaway.

I wanted to thank you for hosting the ticket raffle. It was a privileged to meet Ben and Jessa today. Jessa was beaming. Ben was boldly proclaiming the Gospel. Jessa put the rumors to rest, saying they could only see one baby in the ultrasound.

Jessa also let it slip that Ben has a secret talent.  He sings! After some coaxing, he sang "Happy Birthday" to an audience member. When asked if they live a grand lifestyle, Jessa responded, "We live a grand life because we have each other and God." What a blessing it was. Thank you for your dedication to upholding all of your blogs with honor and integrity.

    1. At least he's not wearing his hat! Lol. He looks much better when he doesn't wear skin tight clothes and a backwards hat.

    2. The poster of the above comment was making a joke, Deb. The event they were at was the Southern Women's Show and Ben's not a woman, thus the sarcastic humor.

  4. Kassie, that was so nice of you to send a write up and pictures. Out here in Western Canada there isn't much of a chance to see the Duggars. Thank you.

  5. Thank you for sharing ladies. Really glad Jessa is doing so well and travel was safe. Charlotte is a beautiful city and they had great options for medical care if it had not turned out so well. Many blessings!

  8. I think the key words are "they could only see one baby in the ultrasound". That is not negating twins out of the picture. I am glad that they aren't sharing everything, even though we all want to know! :)

  13. @Deb I believe what was meant is that this is a Southern woman conference, & Ben should let his wife be there without him. Ben could wait for her back at the hotel, come pick her up when she’s finished.

  15. iam a victim of abuse , i said in an earlier post that GOD will judge, i forgave my abuser after he had given his heart to the lord for real, i do not see him but my LORD and savior JESUS CHRIST forgave me of my sins... sin is sin, it dident take the memories away, but THE LORD helps me to deal with it...and this person dident give his life to the LORD untill 35 years after the abuse.. he doesent know i forgave him, but GOD is the most important one to know i did forgive, we will all stand before the judgement seat of CHRIST
