Thrilled for all you Duggars and their expanding brood. My husband and I love the show and feel like we personally know all of you and sometimes we are surprised when we realize you don't know us at all! We admire your family values and your helping each other as well as others the most!

YAY! I'm so excited for them. The baby's gonna be ADORABLE, and they are gonna be the BEST parents. Jill has been my favorite Duggar for a while, and this news just made my day.

Liz said...

Congratulations. So excited for you both. Just one word of advice from another married woman -- make a point not to interrupt your husband when he's talking. I noticed you did a number of times and this can really frustrate our spouses, causing them to be quiet when they have so much to offer us. We don't want to squelch our husband's voices. Love you dearly.

Jill and Derick,
Congratulations on your WONDERFUL news! My wishes for a safe and healthy pregnancy. Francy

That's great news, they'll make amazing parents! I just hope they waited long enough to tell people about it and hopefully Jill took more than one pregnancy test, because they're not always accurate. Or at least went to a Doctor to confirm.

They have made a covenant with God. Why wait to have a baby? Why do people think fun is the all important thing? May God bless this family.

I would just like to say first of all, congratulations! Next, I would like to say, please ignore all the people out there who have negative things to say about the both of you and your family. So many people out there feel threatened by anyone who has upstanding Christian beliefs. Hold your head high and keep doing everything you are doing! Can't wait to see what your baby is!

For Derick and Jill. If the baby is a girl name her Sarah Elizabeth Dillard and if the baby is a boy name him Isaac Matthew Dillard.

Liz wrote some great advice and copied it here in my remarks. I don't know if Jill will ever see this, but I certainly thought this was excellent advice for most wives! Thanks for posting this advice in such a kind and inoffensive way. For whatI it is worth I appreciated it.

Here is Liz's comment : "Congratulations. So excited for you both. Just one word of advice from another married woman -- make a point not to interrupt your husband when he's talking. I noticed you did a number of times and this can really frustrate our spouses, causing them to be quiet when they have so much to offer us. We don't want to squelch our husband's voices. Wish jill would stop interrupting people but it's kind of nice to see Derrick interrupting her for a change.

I concur, Jills idea a fun is having children so that is wonderful for her, bless them both.:-):-):-)

Yay, baby D. is coming! :)
I think they'll go with some old Hebrew name, Jill loved Israel.

Agreed to the comment by Liz numbered 12 about not interrupting and causing the man to be overly silent. My dad became a silent partner and father because my mother was always the talker. I never really knew who my dad was because he had clamed up and let my mother go on.

Congratulations!! You're going to be awesome parents!

Congratulations!! Think it's ironically cute that DUGGAR is almost DILLARD by swutching a vowel & adding/substituting a couple consonants! Thanks for sharing your positivity! Best wishes to your WHOLE family always!!

I thought jill interrupted him a bit too much. I know she is excited. But she needs to be more aware of it in the future.
