  1. This episode was fantastic, not just their average trip to the dentist! All these years and now the future is here! WOW! I just wish the sound was a bit clearer.

  2. Oh my gosh, I absolutely LOVE that Ben and Jessa fell in love through theological discussions. Hehe. And I'm definitely excited that Ben is doctrinally reformed/calvinistic. Hopefully Jessa is too :p

  4. The Duggar women work. Michelle works. Do you think they do not work traveling all the time, showing up on TV all the time, writing books all the time? It is a hoax that Duggar women do not work. It is the children that suffer that live like nomads in order for the Duggar women to work. Outside the home....when are they ever at home if you don't believe me?

  5. Thank you very much because this is the only way for us, here in The Netherlands, can see the show!

  6. Lilly and Ellie, i was just wondering if you can chime in and correct people when they say information that is incorrect since you know them better than us readers, or do you have to stay bipartisan since its your site? Its just that us fans are starting to sound like parrots and frankly the bashers still dont believe us when we tell them the facts, but maybe they will take your word for it.

  9. I like Ben. He seems to be a nice boy. But that's just it, he's still a young boy. This kid is only 19, just started his college education. Why can't his parents see that he's not ready to marry anyone yet? I'm surprised that the Duggars don't realize that also. They are very big on a "man" being financially able and ready to support not only a wife, but kids, asap. I wish they would explain why a younger boy passes muster at this time. Jessa IS older than he and just doesn't seem to be "in love" or quite frankly, infatuated with the first romantic love interest that has bee allowed to proceed. Jessa and Ben just don't add up to me.

    1. I'm sorry, but could someone please explain to me why it is that you MUST finish college before you get married? I believe that this a worldly philosophy. I'm not saying that you shouldn't necessarily go to college, but if God's plan is for this couple to get married, then who are we to withstand God? By the way, as to Ben being financially able to support a family, it seems to me that he is on the right track -- he does own his own business. I envy him.

  10. I agree with anonymous #1 about the sound being clearer. I had the hardest time trying to understand a few parts of it. Other than that, I enjoyed it! Thank you

  11. SO excited to watch!! We don't have tv so I always look forward to someone posting the episodes on youtube. Thanks to the kind person who did so!

  13. Will Michelle's family be invited to meet these prospective grooms? Will they be invited to the wedding and actually attend and be noted there? They profess to believe in strong families, yet they are shown visiting the Bates family FAR more than Amy's local parents or Michelle's siblings. There seems to be some residual bad blood between her and her siblings. what's up with that?

  14. Great watching. Thanks.

  15. Best episode ever. I agree with Anonymous #1...all these years and now finally boom here's the future! And it's passing so quickly...two of the girls will most likely be married by the end of the year!

  17. I LOVE that fact that there are people willing to record the Duggars and put it on YouTube for those who don't have cable or sat. The only thing I would suggest it try to record it straight on from the front. THese videos seems like they are being recorded from a side angle which makes it a bit fuzzy or something. Thank YOU!!!!

  18. Yay Thanks so much. My favourite part was the little interview with Jackson and Johanna. Jackson was so cute when he said he is going to marry someone just like his Mom.

  19. To anonymous #9 (and #1), I find the sound to be not always clear even when you are getting it direct. Perhaps it is my age (early 60s) but I sometimes have a hard time understanding a few of the words and phrases. Jessa speaks rather quickly, so cannot always understand her, and then, of course, the younger kids aren't always clear. Such a blessing to know this show is being watched by those of you in Europe and Great Britain, too! (And Australia, Canada, and anywhere else! Don't want to leave anyone out!) :)

  20. Sorry, but I don't buy that the Duggar women work. The only one that really seems to work is Jana. Traveling around with your family isn't a job. Filming your everyday life isn't work either. It takes some effort, yes, but that's a weak comparison.

I still think Jessa and Ben were a decoy so Jill and Derrick could have some privacy. No one was looking at them all this time that they were speculating about Jessa and Ben. That's why he's so young, heavily chaperoned, and his parents are only too happy to be on TV for now.

  21. what kind of work do the girl do? please tell me? what kind of work does jim bod do?

Maybe those individuals choose not to be involved anymore than they are. Just a thought.

  23. I like Ben a lot..he seems really mature, I would believe it if someone told me that he was 23/24….but he IS only 18/19(?) and has only started college. I think that they are too young to marry…I can't imagine being in school, working to support a family and being married at 18! I do believe that Jessa loves him….she is mature and shows her feelings differently. I think they make a lovely couple but I wish they'd wait a few years to marry…which prob won't happen in a courtship.

  25. love watching you on TV--you're such an inspiration to be a better Christian--God bless you and your family!

  26. Why do people think Jana is hiding something, just because she's quiet doesn't mean she's up to something. It baffels me that people assume she's depressed or longing for a courtship.Know one knows how she feels or what she thinks but her.

  27. Judgment of ones success = jealousy....Judgeness of ones kindness, and beauty=jealousy. Wow! This just hit me like a ton of bricks, the ONLY reason why someone says rude statements is because of envy, it has to be, why else be opinionated about someones beliefs and lifestyle, especialy if it doesn't harm them personaly in any way, shape, or form.

  28. This debate will be a neverending cycle for as long as this blog exists. There will always be haters and supporters . I'm just glad glad that the majority of us supporters are the ones who make up most the positive comments.I feel for the young ladies who admire the Duggars and have to see negative comments about them.I can't imagine what its like for Lily and Ellie to have to muddle through all the rudeness, especially when they know and love the family, sorry girls. You must have a strong stomache!

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Anonymous The Duggar males travel, too! JimBob and Josh attend various speaking and protesting events.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @AnonymousTotally agree! The Duggars rarely visit JimBob's sister and she's nearby! I guess they visit and are interested in only those that are "like-minded".

    ReplyDelete
  31. I agree with Anonymous number #5. Ben is a great guy, but he is too young and maybe not financially prepared and mature enough for marriage. And Jessa doesn't seem in love, she doesn't show her emotions at all... maybe she is just shy, or reserved, I don't know. Well, I like them and I hope I'm wrong! Maybe I am wrong, maybe no everything is what it looks on TV. I wish all the good things to them! And if it is in God's plans, I wish they get married and be happy! :)

  32. Thankyou so much for posting these episodes. We live in Australia and do not have pay tv so this is the only way we can view. We have been so blessed by watching the Duggars and feel God is using them mightily to reach so many unsaved people. We will be waiting in anticipation to see some upcoming weddings!!

  33. As much as I would love to be able to watch these online for free, TLC doesn't allow it. It is illegal to record and share videos like these. If I want to watch it, I can buy the episodes on Amazon Instant Video, or on YouTube from TLCfullepisodes. I believe there are other places to buy as well, but this isn't legal.

  36. Jessa stated that Ben drove to church one sunday to meet her. Exactly what church were the Duggars attending? Was it their own home church on their property or an established one in their community? What church do they normally attend every Sunday? Thank you

    Hi Anonymous 25,

We spoke with a representative from the show before linking to any YouTube episodes, just to make sure it was okay with them.

  42. I want to know why they girls are not allowed to hold hands but while Josh and Anna were courting they held hands all the time? Double standard?

    ReplyDelete
  43. How can anyone say they barely visit jimbobs sister? They aren't filmed every second of everyday. You do realize each episode is only 30 min or an hour. My best friend never sees me visit my sister & she sees me a lot more than the cameras are rolling on the duggars. Just because its not filmed, don't assume it doesn't happen.

  44. Will the girl go with J names or M or will they start their own thing all baby boys first letter of the name the same and the same for the girl.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I hope one of the Dugger girl when she gets married and has a baby girl I hope she names her girl Pollyanna and their boy Miles

    ReplyDelete
  46. @Barb MWrong, wrong,Josh and Anna did not hold hands until they were engaged, watch the reruns again. We actually saw very little of them when they were courting.Watch the episode of Josh asking her to marry, its after that they started to hold hands. There you go,now you know. :)

  47. I do think that Ben and Jessa are old enough to get married. But I don't think they are old enough to start pumping out a herd of kids. That takes a lot of money to do, and not everyone is able to get a white-collar job.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ben and Jessa seem to be very good quality Christian young people. I think they're ready for marriage. But I would advise them to not be afraid about using contraception. Just think of the catastrophe that would result if nobody in America used contraception.

  49. Thank you so much for putting this on your website! I love watching 19 Kids and Counting, but am not able to watch it on TV. Being able to watch it from the Duggar Family Blog has been a blessing.

  50. After they got engaged Josh and Anna held hands not before. The girls have the same choices to make. They have to decide the physical limits for themselves

    ReplyDelete
  51. Josh was engaged with Anna when they started holding hands. Watch the proposal episode season 1.

  52. @Anonymous I agree, time to correct a few wrongs and perhaps warn people from assuming things and writing lies...it is getting kinda old!

  53. @Anonymous Michelle's family lives quite far away, and a lot of family members have chosen not to be featured in the show for various reasons: not everybody is comfortable on national television!

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Anonymous I think years ago Amy said her parents weren't comfortable on TV, so nothing sinister. They were shown in Jackson's birthday party, but in the background. Obviously very private people, and that's ok.

    ReplyDelete
  55. @Lily and Ellie Thank you, so if they're fine with it it is ok. I'm so glad, I live in England and it's something wholesome and Christian for my daughters to watch. Keep up the good work!

Im about 90% certain that Jill does nursing or midwifery. They have referenced it a lot.

  57. my name is Jennifer, I was wonder how Michelle does the begin with take a breath or does she takes a break?, I got some learn disability I was if any of you children have any disability at all? and how does Michelle do on homeschool them?

  58. @Barb M
Josh and Anna held hands ONLY after they were engaged. The same with Derrick and Jill. I'm sure when/if Jessa and Ben get engaged, they will also hold hands.
