Duggars at the ProLifeCon

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, along with several of their children, met up with Josh and Anna this week in Washington D.C. for the annual March for Life. While there, the parents of 19 spoke at the Family Research Council ProLifeCon. The full video recording of the conference is embedded below. The Duggars come in at 3:05:04.

Note: although the emcee announces that season 8 of 19 Kids and Counting premieres on March 11th, TLC has informed us that the date is subject to change. We will let you know when they make their final decision.

  1. Let's be honest here. If abortion is banned, then some of those saved lives will probably grow up feeling hungry all of the time or not having anybody to love them. So is it really worth putting all of this time and energy into saving the unborn embryos? Shouldn't our top concern be with giving children a life that's worth living?

  2. Hi Lily and Ellie,

Do you know if the Duggars ever did the Meet & Greet at the Hyatt Regency on Capital Hill in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, January 22?

It was supposed to be from 8:30-10:30 AM EST.

I was supposed to go, but couldn't do to the weather.

    Thank You!

  3. The answer to the first Anomous post is: "Yes!!!!" All those lives are worth saving! The people who actually have those babies have the option of giving them up for adoption. There are so many parents waiting for children to adopt. Or the mothers could realize that what they have in them is an actual human being and grow to love the child.

    1. You are forgetting that in the United States you are charge for health care. It's more expensive to go through with a pregnancy and have the baby than to abort. Sometimes it is the best option for a woman. You have to think about the person who is already living.

  4. Yes they are worth saving!!!!! I had an opportunity to carry a baby and now have a beautiful son. None of that would have been possible without embryo adoption.

  5. I am 43 and am totally ashamed of my past. I had a girlfriend who murdered six babies and three of them were in the third trimester. It makes me sick. I actually gave her a ride to a couple of them.We were teenagers and so selfish, we just wanted to party. All of my friends had different back rounds, some strict, some not, some religious, some not, some had wonderful parents and some not, and yet every single one of us were having sex.The girls who we made fun of who were very religious all have wonderful lives with little regret. I wish now that I was part of that group instead of the popular partyers. Now I'm all grown up and realize that kids need a very strong foundation in faith early on so that maybe just maybe they will make better choices than we did.My goodness Josie was smaller than some of my friends aborted babies.I feel so sick and guilty that I have to block out pain. But that is cowardly of me because those babies had to feel the pain and I should do my part and try to help in some way.May GOD forgive us all.Sincerely,Natalie from Nebraska

  6. Josh has stated that he just got back from Isreal again, was it a family trip or work related, and will it be aired on TLC? Would love some info on that if you have any. Thanks again.

  7. Please don't beat up on yourself! A religious upbringing does not mean no unwed pregnancies; remember that. My daughter's most religious friend is the one that wound up pregnant at 17. And you are forgiven if you ask God for forgiveness. There are "sins" in all people--all people. Remember that. Duggars included. We just see all the good on TV. There is "bad" in every person.

  9. It always slays me when people go up in arms when when the topic of sterilizing certain animals as a method of controlling their population comes up and cry of cruelty to animals but the taking of a human life is an accepted and "practical" practice. Since when is the quality of life determined by the amount of food eaten and material goods had? I know of plenty of uber wealthy miserable people and plenty of happy poor folks. The quality of your life is a direct result of your relationship and obedience to the Lord. Rock on Duggars, rock on!!!!

  10. Who ever you are, I really enjoy your statements. When you feel a certain comradery with people it makes one feel good, it's like a natural high, we are all united. Then spoiler alert ,some nasty comment ruins that feeling. If it makes me feel bad, just put yourself in the Duggars shoes,it's got to sting a little.Oh how I wish those people would spend there time on other sites. Because this blog is one of the safest I have seen.Anyways, just wanted u know that i appreciate your sentiments.Sincerely, Natalie from Nebraska

  11. To Natalie in NE:

What you or your friends did in the past may be wrong but the beautiful thing about the saving grace of Jesus Christ is that when we believe in Him we become new and whole again. John 3:16 says that "God so loved the Earth that he gave his only begotten son..." so that all who believe may have everlasting life. I don't know if you have been saved or not but do know that the Lord loves you and forgives you of your past sins and He wants you to do the same.

  12. Abortion is defined as "the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy." Michelle had an abortion. Do the Duggars not realize the very laws they fight against, are the ones that allowed her to have a C-section? Do they not realize the laws they fight for would have wound up with Michelle being dead? I guess I don't understand their thinking...

  13. Why can't we stop telling others how we want them to live their life instead of focusing on OURSELVES?

  14. It's about the principle
